Club War Cry

Boat Club War Cry

Who are, who are, who are we?
We’re the ANUBC!
We are, we are ANU,
Who the f…… hell are you?

Offical Boat Club Hymn

O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home.
Under the shadow of thy throne
They saints have dwelt secure:
Sufficient is thine arm alone,
And our defence is sure.

(This was sung to raise the spirits while walking boats some distance from the original 1960’s boat shed at the back of the John Curtin School of Medical Research down to Sullivans Creek)

Unofficial "Hymn"

Two arms, two hands, two steely bands,
Under the Southern Cross I stand.
A native of this Southern land, Australia.
You bloody beauty.
Up the old red rooster.
More piss!

(Thought to have come to the Boat Club from the 1966 Intervarsity Regatta in Adelaide)
